How to Set Up your Trade Copier

To enable the Copy Trading functionality, select a Lead Account before checking which Follower Accounts you would like to include in your copier. After saving, you may confirm that the copy trading functionality is successfully enabled by checking your Accounts in the Header and the Account Selector.

Note: Follower Accounts must have a greater than or equal margin / max position size as the Lead Account in order to follow.

Trading in Follower Accounts

When Copy Trading is enabled, you will not be able to create, close or adjust orders in a Follower Account. This affects all components, including the DOM, the Order component, and the Chart.

Follower Accounts are blocked from trading

To open, close, and adjust orders in the Follower Account, you will need to do so through the Lead Account.

By enabling the trade copier, you acknowledge the following:

• Personal Risk Settings are automatically disabled on Follower Account(s) and stay off until the account is removed from the trade copier and settings are manually re-enabled.

  • Exceptions: Personal Daily Loss Limit / Personal Daily Profit Target are not disabled on Follower accounts

• You are responsible for managing all trades executed via the copier.

• Latency or execution timing differences may result in minor discrepancies between copied account balances.

• Clearing the Trade Copier while there are open positions or working orders will result in the immediate liquidation of all such positions and orders across all accounts on the Trade Copier.
